Pet Memorials

Losing a pet is a heartbreaking time and everyone moves through their grief differently. Many families take great comfort from having a memento or keepsake to remind them of the love and joy their pet brought.

We can offer you three ways to memorialise your pet.

The first is by writing a story or sharing a memory and some photos on our memorial wall. We encourage all of our families to do this as writing about how you are feeling and recalling in words a happy time, is a lovely way to help process grief. We also love to read these stories and your words offer comfort to the many people who read the memorials to help process their own pain of losing a pet.

If you'd like to do this, just send your words and photos to our memorial wall email address and we'll let you know when they have been published. Think of this as a digital version of lighting a candle for them.

We also collect a paw print from all pets in either clay or ink, you can choose.

Finally, many families wish their pet's ashes to be returned to them afterwards. If you would like this for your pet, then let us know when you book your appointment.

Nothing can prevent the pain that accompanies the loss of a pet. But a memorial can help you and your family to move beyond the sadness and recall the many happy days that made having your pet worthwhile in the first place. For more ideas on pet memorials, read out comprehensive guide:
